The purpose of this article is to highlight the function of the contextual approach in defining the textual semantic of the Holy Qur'an and directing the meaning in the scientific exegesis.Therefore, this study this is based on two dimensions: internal linguistic context and external context of situation, which are both correlated to each other and do not separate, their aim is to set statement and explanation, And their function is to adjust the textual semantic and to build a general image for the sense.
This article includes in the first part a theoretical study with definitions of some terms that are mentioned in the title: context, exegesis (tafseer) and science, thereafter we discuss the dimensions of the context according to the Quran’s interpreters, as well as its importance in the Qur'an scientific interpretation.
The second part is a practical study،we took, for example, the story of the king Prophet Solomon with the ant as a procedural model of how to apply the context approach for guiding and defining the meaning for some scientific miracle verses in the Qur'an, how to understand it, extract its hidden sensesand notify its purposes.
