المستخلص

This article aims at revealing the reality of the philosophical discourse in the Algerian secondary school by answering the following main question:
Is the philosophical discourse in the course of philosophy to serve the educational goals set by the educational system, and contained under the name competencies?
The results of this study, which used the descriptive approach in qualitative and quantitative terms, show that despite the importance that the educational system attaches to such discourse in order to achieve the required competencies, the students declare the difficulty of philosophical discourse in general and the philosophical discourse programmed for them, The goal is to acquire the ability to philosophize, but they achieve relatively the ability to distinguish between different images of paradoxes, and did not gain the ability to control the mechanisms of logical thinking.
