If you look at our Arab heritage closely, you will notice that there are accumulations of
knowledge over time ،especially in the fourth HEJRI century. The main motivation that led scientists at
the time to write was research which helped to explore the branches of fixed assets and introduce
new theories and additions to them. At that time, Scholras have combined mastery of Arabic science
with contemporary knowledge and science. As a result, They derived their own methods of
theorising and rule making.
At that era, scientists combined Arabic science with the knowledge of that times. This state of
affairs has demonstrated the features of their apptoaches that have been crystallized and appeared in
many of their works. In this research paper, we will try to shed light on the approach that made the
rhetorical objectives being realised. This approach has made it easy to write and theorise due to the
science of rhetoric. We will also try to answer the research question related to the issue related to our
rhetoric legacy and the link between research in linguistics and Arabic rhetoric.
Research questions: Are the approaches of linguistics ,which are praised by many
contemporary specialists, rooted in our Arab heritage?
How can the approach of ancient scholars be an entry point for establishing an Arabic linguistic
lesson enriched by contemporary research mechanisms?
Where is the meeting point and the integration of the efforts of the ancient scholars and the
current achievements?
