The theatre played a major role in October 1973 victories, whereas the playwrights interacted with
the victories action in a heart touching manner, especially from the view of the national audience. For
most of the theatrical scenes that tackled this event, were emerging from the conscious of the author,
because it was considered as an immediate passionate response, received enthusiastically by the officials
in a way that they opened all the theatres free of charge for the Egyptian audience, in order for the
Egyptians to enjoy the event and interact with the victory. The poet and playwright Abdul-Aziz Abdul-
Zaher and the playwright Alsayed Hafez were the most playwrights who were interacted with October's
victory.
