The aim of this article is to treat the nature of inter-studies, their conceptual system and terminological problematic. We have primarily, observed the relation between this kinds of studies, the linguistic revolution and the structuralism, considered as the starting point of trans-disciplinarians studies. We deal also with the link between inter-studies as post specialties studies and the post modernism, despite the differences in objectives and intentions. We indicated the important domains of inter-studies, as discourse analysis, general rhetoric and cognitive studies and concept-mixing theory, which work with conceptual structure of language, and considering the concept-mixing as mental mechanism allowing explaining conceptual processing performed in language use.
We also indicated the pertinence of this kind of studies which returns us to the composing thought and the epistemology of complexity; which is imposing a terminological problematic, and we gave our point of view of this question and we noted finally of the role of the inter-disciplinarian studies in bridging the gap between us and our heritage.
