Alexandria has formed an important part of the picture drawn by the Thousand and One Nights of the Civilizational confrontation between East and West. The third phase of the tales, the stage of "Egyptian Nights" that comes after the stage of "Indian Nights" and "The Baghdadi Nights" cost a vivid picture of Alexandria And its mixed society, in which dialogue included various images of medieval cultures.
In two successive articles we will try to reflect this picture in terms of emotional dialogue and associated hot conflicts, then industrial and commercial conflict and its quiet image in the following article.
